Jonathan Doppelt diamonds and jewelry have been supplied to the big design houses, and the company's unique pieces have also been sold to esteemed auction houses such as Sothebys and Christies.

Brilliance

Today almost 100 years later, Jonathan's sons Jason and David are carrying the family tradition into its fourth generation.

The founding of the Doppelt family business almost a century ago marks the start of an extraordinary journey through the diamond industry.

Legacy

When Usher Doppelt founded his company in 1918, he cut and sold some of the most exquisite diamonds in the world. Usher's son, Stanley, was particularly intrigued by the beauty of colored diamonds and sought out to revolutionize the family business.

Tradition

Stanley Doppelt is known as a pioneer of the industry. In the 1970's along with Louis Glick, Stanley Doppelt invented the Starburst diamond, a dramatic cut very similar to the radiant cut we see today. His innovation transformed the diamond trade, introducing the beauty of colored diamonds to the global market. Stanley Doppelt especially adored yellow diamonds and was truly a visionary in understanding the overall allure of colored stones.

Family

The Doppelt family name has spanned nine decades and is synonymous for expertise in rare yellow, pink, blue and beautiful cut white diamonds. The company is now in its third generation of family ownership with Usher's grandson, Jonathan, actively at the helm. Jonathan Doppelt continues to be a leader in the cutting of important diamonds and has handles diamonds of notable speciality, supplying to high jewelry houses such as Bvlgari, Cartier and Van Cleef and Arpels.
